15 Things You Can Make & Sell With Fall Themed 3D Printed Charms

Updated: Sep 26
There's something about autumn that makes me want to create.
Pumpkins, cosy coffee cups, little ghosts, warm colours and all those adorable seasonal details. Even though autumn doesn't arrive in September here in Australia, I still love designing for the season!
My newest Fall Treats Charm Collection brings together ten autumn inspired designs, including pumpkin drinks, sweet treats, cosy little details and a few friendly ghosts.
But here's the fun part.
These aren't just charms. They're little building blocks for all sorts of handmade creations!
If you have a 3D printer and love making things for yourself, gifting or selling at markets, I've put together 15 ideas to help you get creative with this collection.

1. Autumn Keychains
Let's start with a classic!
Turn your favourite charm into a keychain with a split ring and a little chain. You could keep it simple with one statement charm or add coordinating beads, tassels and smaller accessories.
The pumpkin coffee cup would make an adorable keychain for a coffee lover, while the little ghost designs are perfect for someone who likes their Halloween decorations on the cute side.

2. Bag Charms
Give an everyday handbag, backpack or tote a little seasonal personality.
Attach a charm to a lobster clasp or bag clip and add a tassel, ribbon or a few autumn-coloured beads.
These would be lovely as small gifts or as accessories for handmade bags.
3. Zipper Pulls
Sometimes the smallest details are the sweetest.
Use a charm to create a zipper pull for pencil cases, pouches, backpacks or project bags.
A little pumpkin or ghost hanging from a zipper can turn a plain accessory into something much more personal.
Just make sure your chosen hardware is securely attached and suitable for how the item will be used.
4. Autumn Earrings
For a fun jewellery idea, turn two matching charms into a pair of statement earrings.
I can imagine the pumpkin doughnuts looking especially cute as a matching pair!
You could also create mismatched seasonal sets, such as a pumpkin on one side and a little ghost on the other.
Choose appropriate jewellery findings and consider the finished weight and comfort when making earrings.

5. Pendant Necklaces
Choose one of the charms as a focal piece and attach it to a necklace chain using suitable jewellery hardware.
The little heart designs would make especially sweet pendants.
You could keep the necklace simple or add a coordinating bead for a little extra detail.
6. Bracelet Charms
Create a seasonal bracelet by adding one or more charms to a chain or suitable bracelet base.
Try combining a pumpkin, a coffee cup and a little ghost for a playful autumn theme.
You could even make matching bracelet and necklace sets.
7. Phone Charms
Phone charms are another lovely way to use small decorative designs.
Combine a printed charm with a phone strap attachment, coordinating beads and a short cord.
Think warm oranges, chocolate browns, creams and soft greens for a cosy autumn colour palette.

8. Bookmark Charms
If you make bookmarks, these designs could become adorable finishing touches.
Attach a charm to a tassel or suitable bookmark accessory to create something a little different for autumn readers.
The cosy drink and book-themed design would be a natural fit for a reading-inspired gift.
9. Planner and Journal Charms
Add a seasonal charm to a planner accessory, journal zipper or removable clip.
You could even create a little collection of interchangeable planner charms for different holidays.
I love the idea of having a few favourites ready to swap as the seasons change.
10. Gift Tag Decorations
Here's a sweet way to make your gift wrapping feel extra special.
Attach a printed charm to a ribbon around a wrapped present or gift bag.
The recipient can remove it afterwards and reuse it as a keychain or another accessory if you've added the appropriate hardware.
It's a lovely way to make the decoration part of the gift.

11. Handmade Gift Sets
Why sell just one item when you could create a coordinated little gift set?
For example, you could put together a matching keychain, bag charm and pair of earrings using the same design or colour palette.
Present them in a small gift box with tissue paper and your business branding.
These could make lovely seasonal gifts for friends, teachers or coffee lovers.
12. Market Stall Accessories
If you sell handmade products at markets, small seasonal accessories can be a fun addition to your display.
You could offer a selection of keychains, bag charms, jewellery and zipper pulls made from the same colle ction.
Displaying the finished products together helps customers see the different ways each design can be used.
And because the collection includes ten designs, you can offer plenty of variety while keeping a coordinated autumn theme.

13. Party Favours
Planning an autumn birthday, Halloween gathering or seasonal celebration?
A small charm attached to a thank-you card could make a sweet party favour.
You could turn them into keychains or bag clips so guests have something useful to take home.
For children's events, be mindful of small parts and age suitability.
14. Seasonal Product Packaging
If you run a handmade business, you could use a charm as a removable decorative extra on your packaging.
Imagine a little pumpkin attached to a ribbon around a gift box, or a ghost charm clipped to a Halloween order.
It's a lovely way to make your packaging memorable while giving customers an extra item they can reuse.
15. Create Your Own Autumn Collection
This might be my favourite idea of all.
Instead of making one product, use the ten designs to build an entire autumn-themed range for your handmade business.
You could offer:
Matching jewellery sets
Keychains and bag accessories
Phone and planner charms
Seasonal gift bundles
Small accessories for market stalls
Choose a consistent colour palette, add your own finishing touches and create a collection that feels uniquely yours.
That's what I love about designing digital files for other makers. I create the designs, but you get to decide what they become.

A Few Tips Before You Start
If you're planning to turn these designs into accessories, think about how each finished item will be used.
Choose suitable hardware, check that attachment points are strong enough for the intended purpose, and test your finished products before selling them.
For jewellery, consider weight and comfort. For items that will be handled frequently, such as keychains, make sure the print and hardware can cope with everyday use.
And of course, have fun experimenting with your colours!
